Alporchinhos is in the coastal area of Porches’ parish, on the beautiful Lagoa’s coastline.
Porches itself is a precious little village.
With white buildings and beautiful chimneys, the village enchants.
Algarve’s pottery centre is here. Therefore, a call to its shops is a not to miss!
A visit to Porches Pottery workshop is fascinating.
Only skill and steady hands are used to transform bare pottery into an individual work of art.
Famous for its pottery and wine, the parish is home to many high end restaurants.
One of which holds two Michelin stars.
But, that is not all.
Another part of Porches’ heritage is the picturesque Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Rocha.
Simple and charming, the tiny-whitewashed chapel, dates from the XV century.
Built on a cliff top, in Alporchinhos, the Chapel overlooks the vast Atlantic.
As a result, the panoramic view is extraordinary!
For this reason, the set is incredibly romantic, calming and great to watch the sunset!
Oasis 16 location: Amenities
Oasis 16 location is perfect for all its amenities. Within walking distance there are:

Here you will find groceries, fruit and vegetables, a fishmonger, a butcher and a bakery/café.

Furthermore, they have a cash point and launderette.
Meanwhile, on the same road, there is a small supermarket and a newsagent’s shop.
Additionally, there is a telephone booth, a petrol station and a bus stop.
The area has many excellent restaurants.

Armação de Pêra
Armação de Pêra is a 5-minute drive from the apartment and is worth visiting.
Shall we explain why?
This seaside resort is very popular, especially with the natives.
The town offers not only businesses related to tourism, but also other services.
Amongst these are big supermarkets, banks and pharmacies.
As an illustration, a famous food market takes place here.
On Saturdays, the market is bigger than any other day.
Pay a visit, and you will not regret it.
We guarantee that the stalls with local fresh products will impress!
The resort is also famous by its seafront. How so?
Firstly, the seafront includes a 1 Km promenade with gardens, playground and art centre.
Secondly, many cafés, restaurants and ice-cream shops are along it.
Thirdly, this is where the Tourist Office is.
Additionally, the promenade is where most of the animation happens.
For example, on the first Sunday of the month, a classic car event takes place here.
Of course, the one thing not to miss in Armação de Pêra is the Beach!
Great Algarve Location
Oasis 16 is in Central Algarve.
As so, if you decide to explore the rest of the Algarve there is no hassle.
