The XXIV International Ascent of the Rio Arade in Canoeing will take place on 31/10/2021.
The Clube Naval de Portimão promotes the initiative in partnership with the municipalities of Silves, Lagoa and Portimão. It also has the support of the Portuguese Canoeing Federation, the Algarve Regional Canoeing Association and the Portuguese Sports and Youth Institute.
The 12 km race has a nautical tourism side, starting at 9:00 am, and a competition one, which will start at 9:15 am.
The starting point of the Rio Arade International Canoeing Climb is the riverside area of Portimão, next to the Clube Naval, ending in Silves.
Applications for nautical tourism have an associated cost of 5 euros and will be accepted until the 27th of October, at the Clube Naval de Portimão (tel: 282 417 529 | email: geral@clubenavaldeportimao.pt).
